Configuring and Using the KR Cell Name PlateThe KR Cell Name Plate allows you to "name" each cell in your jail. Configuration is contained in two places: the Description of the Name Plate object and in the name of the CONFIG Notecard in the name plate's Contents.
Why use the object description for the cell name and not add it to the CONFIG notecard? You will probably set up a single name plate with the access and prisoner name configuration, than then copy that name plate and distribute it throughout your jail. It is must faster to then change the cell's name by just editing the object description. |

Using the KR Access Server with the Name PlateIf you have the KR Access Server installed, you can use it for staff authentication for access to the Name Plate controls. The KR Access Server Cell Plugin script is included in the package delivered with the name plate, but it is not installed in the contents of the name plate in order to reduce script memory usage if it is not to be used. You must synchronize the KR Access Server Cell Plugin script with the KR Access Server by one of two methods.
Using the Name PlateWhen touched, you will have the option to assign a nearby avatar to the cell, or remove an avatar name. The Name Plate will dislay the names of all prisoners assigned to the cell along with the number of days they have been absent (or did not touch the name plate). The name plate does not track their sentence, only when they were last present. For tracking of time served and/or remaining, please take a look at the KR Jail Keeper product.
